SSM Stood by the Devastated Farmer

The May month in summer this year left a horrifying experience to a section of farmers in the village.

On a day, when the mercury recorded above 48⁰ C, a row of old houses in the village suddenly caught fire and within no time nothing left except ashes.  The worst hit victim was ‘Vittal Shivling Dammaywar.  At the end of the day, the whole family stood in streets looking into the dark future.

Absolutely everything, the food grains and fodder stored for the year to go, all agricultural implements and the entire house turned to a heap of ash.

The SSM came forward to discharge the social responsibility.  All the affected were provided with complete sets of Agricultural tools, ploughs and food grains, fodder for animals sufficient for six months, so that they restart their life once again.

This moral support awoke a sense of responsibility among the youth and elders in the village.
